Allen is a man of questionable character and significant debt. If you should happen to see Allen— likely in his most natural state, chain smoking cheap reds and drinking everything short of antifreeze in some stale hotel bar— tell him I’m nipping at his heels, as one’s shadow does.
And much like the shadow that hangs over us all, I will be coming to collect on his debts. I always remember my outstanding dues, and I’ve always been compensated.
